“Staff Have Done Wonders”
I was a patient of Dr Monacells when I was a teenager, and now my son is seeing him now. Dr Monacell and his staff have done wonders for my family and straighting out teeth. Dr Monacell and his staff are absolutely the best at what they do!! I wouldn’t trust my children’s smile with anyone else!!
What Is Invisalign?
Once Dr. Monacell recommends Invisalign, he will create an in-depth, individualized plan for your treatment. Multiple sets of aligners will be produced for you, and you will be expected to wear them for approximately 20 – 22 hours each day. Each set of aligners exerts gentle pressure on your teeth, moving them toward their proper place. Every one or two weeks, you will replace your current set with a new one that will further correct your teeth. By the end of treatment, you should see a remarkable improvement in your bite and appearance.
You Can Benefit
All types of patients can benefit from these aligners, including those who have already had orthodontic treatment. Some doctors use a combination of traditional braces with Invisalign to get the best results. If you have had braces previously, Invisalign may be the best choice to repair teeth that have begun to drift back to their original positions.
Invisalign treatment offers a number of advantages to patients. They are more comfortable than traditional braces, and they are removable, making eating, drinking and oral hygiene easier. Some patients avoid braces because they hate the way they look. Invisalign braces are extremely difficult for others to detect, freeing you from being self-conscious. You should receive excellent results with minimal discomfort and inconvenience.
As an authorized Invisalign orthodontist, Dr. Monacell will evaluate your situation and explain if Invisalign Teen will be an option for you.
If so, you will receive a customized set of aligners made specifically for your needs. For the best results, you will need to wear your Invisalign aligners 20 to 22 hours each day. To reassure your parents, your aligners will have blue compliance indicators to prove that you are wearing them as much as you should.
Your New Sets
Every week or so, you will begin wearing a new set of aligners. Each set is designed to move your teeth more toward their ideal position. By the end of the process, you should have a healthy, attractive smile.
